Tamiya Bodyshells

Tamiya is a brand that produces both hard injection moulded bodies and Injection moulded Lexan/Polycarbonate shells. Tamiya bodyshells are highly detailed with many additional scale accessories and fine details included. They are in many respects the pinnacle of scale looking RC Body Shells and cover many different genres and tyres of model. Bodyshells from Tamiya tend to be 1/10th in scale and cover On Road touring cars and Drift Car wheelbases, Rally Cars, scale Rock Crawler Bodies, Jeeps and even Military Vehicles. We will always endeavour to keep all the latest releases by Tamiya in stock, but on occasion you will need to pre-order some types because of their rarity. Tamiya RC Body Shells are a builder's dream as they let you go as simple or detailed as you want with your builds, and they also produce some of the most realistic finished builds in the RC World. Tamiya RC Body Shells are mostly sold clear or unpainted and will require painting internally or externally and finishing with decals, but there are some models that are provided pre painted and are almost ready to fit. These tend to be more expensive as they take more time and labour to produce. Remember you must paint all Lexan Shells on the inside, with a compatible paint that physically attaches itself to the Lexan and hard bodies with a compatible paint on the outside.
