Lumenier have released a frame in collaboration with the world famous Lumenier pilot, CHARPU.
This is the QAV-X CHARPU frame which is a 'X' frame made out of carbon fibre for durability. This quadcopter is lightweight, strong and finely tuned for high performance. Finest quality of carbon fiber there, the QAV-X CHARPU has been stripped down to the bare essentials of FPV without sacrificing anything important. No need to 3D print your own custom mount to angle your camera up, there is already one pre-made in the box. All you need to do is make sure your camera is securely attached to the FPV Frame and you're off.
The main FPV Body is a 3mm plate is CNC milled out of a solid sheet of premium Lumenier carbon fiber. The outer weave of Carbon fiber runs 100% down each arm of the QAC-X(0/90 weave). allowing the frame maximum strength of carbon and arms. The top plate of the Carbon fiber frame included an accessory antenna extension plate, allowing for multiple cable ties to lock down your FPV Antenna. Another great feature is you can no longer damage the SMA connection on your Video Transmitter, the top plate has been specially desinged so you can reach the VTX button and LED display for easy channel adjustment. The balancing bumps on the sides of the top plate make it more simple to measure the center of gravity on your frame, this allows you to get the percvect balance while flying the aircraft.
Each kit will include a carbon fiber battery protector plate. The QAV-X CHAPRU is designed to strap a Li-Po battery to the bottom of the frame which exposes the battery during a hard landing or crash, this is what the carbon fiber battery protector plate is for, it takes the punch for the battery or alternatively you can use some Neoprene foam to create a landing pad for the battery.
This FPV Frames comes with high quality aluminium hardware, all the screws are premium, black oxide steel. The spacers have a textured grip and are also 28mm rather than the standard 35mm, this allows to FPV Frame to have a sleek, low profile look.
