Estes rocket kits are for everyone, if you're looking for a new exciting hobby or a seasoned veteran in model rocketry these kits are ideal for all. For larger groups we have bulk packs and easy to assemble rocket kits or for those seeking a challenge we have skill level 2, 3, 4 or 5 rockets for an increasing level of technical difficulty in the assembly phase.

The skill level 1 rocket kits are very easy to build and fly for beginner that's just getting into rocketry, perfect for groups to use as they require little assembly and simple decorations. Most of our level 1 rocket kits can be built and launched in the same day, perfect for those looking for a quick activity or just some rocketry fun.

Skill level 2 is when you start to need some previous experience within rocket model building, usually a great choice once you have mastered level 1. These kits contain complex designs from the motor mount, fun, stage-2 model rocket or simply have more pieces to assemble. Perfect for those slightly experienced rocketeers looking for a bit more of a challenge.

Skill level 3 model rockets range from boost gliders, 2-stage model rockets, 3-stage model rockets, to rockets with D-class or E-class model rocket engines. For level 3 you would have to undertake more skills such as precision measuring and cutting and advanced wood, paper and plastic construction. This skill level would be perfect for those older ages with a good rocketry experience behind them and a few key construction skills already.

The Skill level 4 rocket kits are for highly experienced rocketeers who have already advanced skills on construction and flight, we highly recommend you master skill levels 1, 2 and 3 before attempting skill level 4 kits as they can be extremely complex to assemble. If you have any questions about model rocketry and the skill levels of our model rocket kits then please contact us and we can point you in the right direction.
