Description


JConcepts launches a new 12.3” wheelbase crawler body into orbit with the release of the new APC-X shell. Built for the military style enthusiast, the Armored Personnel Carrier X packs a serious bundle of details into one pre-cut body item. The design begins with heavy front chiseled body panel details with raised and lowered sections giving rigidness and structure to this crawler design. An almost 90-degree angle front windshield places the soldier just behind wheel in a high visibility position.



On the sides, recessed and embossed sections provide locations for included decals including grille and headlight sculptured features. The bold lines, the high radius wheel well openings have plenty of clearance for an assortment of JConcepts tires. The new shell features body lines representing driver and passenger doors and a layered concept of the panels brings out the absolute realism of this build. The side windows have been recessed for clear and authentic styling cues blended into the massive cab with split front windows.



The fenders have large, raised panels giving drivers options on user defined painting details while allowing the design to have structure. Small pocketing throughout the body paneling provides more ingredients into a shell that drops down and fits industry popular 12.3” wheelbase crawlers. A huge rear window gives a lot of coverage to view inside the body for drivers looking to decorate the inside and interior to their own individual liking.



The bed is louvered and paneled to represent a rolling rear bed cover and blends into small rear tailgate hatch. Square rear taillights are embossed to give some dimension to the rear of the vehicle and included decals help providing the covering for these features. The clear polycarbonate body arrives packaged with protective film and includes decal sheet and window mask to finish off an extraordinary body shell in style.
