The brushless power system is compatible with popular 3S 600–850mAh batteries, plus the Spektrum™ receiver is equipped with enhanced AS3X+® and optional-use SAFE® Select technologies to make it one of the easiest to fly P-47 models yet. The retractable landing gear with a steerable tail wheel makes it easy to taxi, take off from, and land on smooth surfaces, or you can leave the landing gear retracted to hand launch and belly land when flying over grass. It arrives factory-finished in a fully painted scale trim scheme and is ready to fly after quickly installing the one-piece wing with a single thumbscrew.

And although this is one of the easiest to fly P-47 models yet, it's not a suitable first-ever RC aircraft for new pilots. You should have the experience and skills necessary to successfully fly UMX and other warbird models including the E-flite P-51D Mustang 1.0m, T-28 Trojan 1.1m, or the 1.2m and larger models before attempting to fly the Micro P-47 Thunderbolt.
