The new FTX HydroCat combines sleek offshore styling, brushless performance and innovative turbojet propulsion to deliver thrilling action on lakes, reservoirs, canals and calm waterways. Designed for both newcomers and experienced RC enthusiasts, the HydroCat offers exhilarating speed, responsive handling and hassle-free operation in a compact Ready-to-Run package.
Unlike conventional RC boats with exposed propellers, the HydroCat uses an enclosed turbojet propulsion system, drawing water through the hull before accelerating it through the jet nozzle for powerful forward thrust. This not only provides rapid acceleration and impressive top speeds of over 30km/h but also helps protect the drive system from accidental knocks, underwater weeds and floating debris.
Power comes from a high-performance water-cooled brushless motor, matched with a waterproof 32A electronic speed controller to deliver smooth, efficient performance on every run. The included 3S 11.1V 2000mAh Li-ion battery provides up to 10 minutes of run time while the proportional 2.4GHz radio system offers precise steering and throttle control at distances of up to 250 metres.
Built around a durable twin-hull catamaran design, the HydroCat delivers excellent stability at speed while remaining agile through sweeping turns. A waterproof electronics compartment, low battery alarm and quality waterproof steering servo ensure dependable performance every time you head to the water.
Virtually everything needed to get started is included in the box, including the boat, 2.4GHz transmitter, Li-ion battery and USB charger. Simply charge the battery, install four AA batteries in the transmitter and you’re ready to experience the excitement of brushless jet-powered boating.

If you choose to collect your order, please note the stock status as this will determine if your order will be able to be collected immediately or may be ready in a day or two.
