The RC10B3, one of the longer tenured vehicles in the Team Associated line-up has a new Illuzion body style courtesy of JConcepts. The vehicle spanned years from 1997 to 2003 and was crowned the 1999 IFMAR World Champion in the hands of the legendary racer, Masami Hirosaka in Rauma, Finland. It’s Déjà vu all over again with the release of this new body shell which carries over many of the popular features used in 1999 but with an updated fit, finish, JConcepts window treatment and Illuzionized cab and included wing.



Recently, JConcepts ace drivers Spencer Rivkin, and Ryan Maifield debuted this body at the sold-out Team Associated Vintage Championship to a TQ and victory in the 1994-1998 popular racing class. The speedy duo from Arizona took 1st and 2nd place in the double A-Main with Spencer Rivkin bringing home the well-deserved trophy. The body has minimized hard body lines with round flowing shapes that made 2wd buggies so powerful in the late 1990’s. Although a longer cab than featured on vehicles in the 1980’s, the Illuzion body packs a front-end aero force with its long-slung cab placement and narrow front window positioning.



The windows have been Illuzionized with individual panels built into the included templates to get that “team driver” look of the 1990’s. Large format windows appear low on the racetrack, giving a high-end racer stance on the Illuzion B3 body. Extra window trim lines are included near the front and to the rear to maximize window coverage seen throughout the golden years of 2wd buggy racing. The Illuzion body has a rear section which covers the transmission, and rear shock tower assemblies.



The body arrives as clear polycarbonate with protective film and is available in standard thickness.
