Description
When a new racing vehicle hits the market, JConcepts strives to offer a replacement and high-performance shell for competition needs. The RC8B4 is the latest platform by Team Associated for 1/8th nitro buggy racing and with it came several new features to design around for the team from Groveland, Florida. The team at JConcepts spent considerable time evaluating the new chassis layout and how to incorporate the championship winning S15 body to the vehicle.

The S15 blends performance features from the popular Silencer body with new features such as mid-body winglets andrear stabilizer kick-up. The roof of the body remains strong with the upper fin in position for stability and tracking ability. Since the latest chassis platform included revised steering geometry, front gearbox updates and a new front shock tower, revisions were needed around the entire front-end to fit the new buggy body properly.

The front and rear body mount area is cleanly designed and allows for a drop-fit on the Team Associated RC8B4 model. The S15 concept uses heavily chamfered side-pods blended into winglets made popular by JConcepts heritage designs. A standard front nose cone is included for the front of the buggy which can remain clear or painted to match. Each S15 body receives window mask, decal sheet and is backed with JConcepts customer support and racing heritage.
