Tamiya welcomes an updated reissue of the Nissan Leopard 2-Door Hardtop 280X SF-L, originally released as a motorised model in 1981. This version features updated decals and a revised instruction manual.

Introduced by Nissan in September 1980, the Leopard was designed as a premium personal luxury car, with the 280X SF-L sitting at the top of the model range. Its sleek two-door hardtop body featured flush-fitting windows and body panels, giving it a refined and modern appearance.

Power came from a 2.8-litre inline six-cylinder DOHC engine producing 145hp, while the luxurious interior included leather seats and advanced technology for the time, such as an onboard drive computer. Regarded as a pioneer of the Japanese personal luxury car segment, the Nissan Leopard remains an iconic model from the era.
