The prominent figure of the R/C car boom was the Buggy Champ which was first released in 1979. Tamiya is now proud to re-release the Buggy Champ to celebrate the car s 30th year anniversary. The chassis has been finely tuned while maintaining the original features of the chassis such as the unique front double trailing arms and rear torsion suspension.R/C fans hearts will definitely race when they see the nostalgic form and relive the dynamic performance of this machine.

This 2009 updated re-release of the Buggy Champ gets a welcome
re-issue. The model kept true to the basic layout of the original
Buggy Champ while incorporating modernizations and design
refinements. It will surely bring back the memories of the good old
days for veterans of the R/C hobby, and be an attractive model for
newer fans, too!
About the Model
• This is a 1/10 scale R/C model assembly kit. Length: 400mm,
width: 210mm, wheelbase: 250mm.
• Chassis features a 2mm thick FRP plate with an aluminium
reinforcing plate for strength and flexibility to
ensure stability.
• 4-wheel independent suspension features front double trailing
arm and rear swing axle setups, die-cast
suspension arms, and oil dampers.
• Realistic body is moulded in white polystyrene and can be
painted with plastic model paints.
• Electronics and battery are protected by a durable clear plastic
mechanism box.
• Comes equipped with full ball bearings to reduce friction loss.
• Compatible with Item 55105 LF1100-6.6V Racing Pack.
• 3-piece centre-lock wheels are paired with grooved front tires
and block tread pattern rear tires that ensure
superb off-road performance
• ESC & 540 Motor Included
