Tamiya just doesnt stop releasing new items for the 1/48 MM Series. We now offer modelersthe Panther Type G, widely considered one of the most effective German tanks of WWII. Linethe Ausf.G with the Panzer IV Ausf.J and 1/48 Panzer Grenadier figures for a detailed andaccurate diorama of late-WWII German military.
About the German Panther Ausf.G Developed as a countermeasure to the Soviet T-34, the German Panther tank was producedfrom 1943 until the end of the war and served alongside the Panzer III, IV and Tiger tanks. ThePanther tank featured sloped armor, powerful 700hp Maybach engine and a turret placed farback on the hull mounting a 75mm L/70 cannon. The main gun was even more devastatingthan its size of 75mm would suggest, due to the large propellant charge and long barrel withhigh muzzle velocity. Many consider the Panther every bit as effective as the Tiger I, but easierto produce and maintain. The Ausf.G included versions with heater unit installed over the leftengine fan, and with curving lower chin piece removed from mantlet to eliminate shot trap.

We offer free delivery to most Mainland UK addresses on orders over £125. Deliveries to any off-shore islands, international addresses and certain parts of Scotland/Highlands may incur delivery surcharges. If you choose to collect your order, please note the stock status as this will determine if your order will be able to be collected immediately or may be ready in a day or two. All refunds are at our discretion and will only be issued once we have received the returned item(s) and are satisfied that they are in unused condition. We advise that all returned items should to be sent recorded / signed for and insured to the correct product value as Make It Build It cannot be held responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit. Please be aware that any refunds will not include your return postage cost.
